The Left’s post-coital snooze

My friend kernunos asked me the other day: Where are the Moonbats? Where are the militant liberals ranting silliness? They seem to have lost their spunk. They just don’t want to play in the blogoshere anymore. I’ve noticed the same phenomena. But I have a theory, and here it is:

First, we need a short sex education class so that people easily understand what my theory entails.

Did you know that before a male horse mates, it can take four people just to control the horny animal while trying to get him to mate? After the stallion’s had his way with the mare, the poor boy can barely stand by himself and can be led away to beddy-buys by a small, adoring child.

And of course, in the laundry list of women’s complaints about men, is that they always want to go to sleep after sex. Guess what, ladies. It’s that weird thing called….BIOLOGY! Yes, we leave the toilet seat up, love video games and fall asleep after sex. That’s just the way it is. See, it’s a hormone. Everything, it seems can be blamed on hormones. Women like to bitch because of them and men want sex because of testosterone (Ok, I’m oversimplifying here. Testosterone levels are only part of the equation when it comes to libido), and we fall asleep afterwards because of a hormone called prolactin. Ain’t nothin’ we can do about it. The hormone introduces a wait period before a man can perform again, and also makes him sleepy. Animals injected with prolactin, immediately become tired.

Biology class is over, so you can quit the giggling and whispering in the back of the class.

Your lesson learned may have a political equivalent. Over the last two years, the media, far-left liberals, women of every hue and political affiliation have been engaged in a giant mega-orgy with Obama. The titanic debauch–which encompassed the whole world–even had all of Europe feeling the earth move. It culminated in a budget-shattering orgasm on Obama’s inauguration day. Feeling satiated, the Leftists, Moonbats, “Socialist-Democrats”, Progressives, Libertines and even Keith Olbermann have rolled over and commenced a good snooze.

But it’s only a matter of time ’til they’re ready to climb back in the saddle. They’re  a lustful bunch. The mating cycle of the Moonbat makes bunnies look like downright prudes. They’ll be back, even more libidinous than before, demanding people’s rights to marry animals or some such thing.

I used to be a (insert right-wing political profile here), but then…

Many WordPress readers I’m sure have notice one blog posting that’s been on the “Hawt Posts” list for a few day now. It’s from the unreasonable faith  site. The author of that site claims he used to be an evangelical Christian, but has since seen the light–or the darkeness as it may be–and has become what I would call a mini-antichrist.  I’m loath to post a link to his Hawt article, the title of which states: How To Stump an Anti-Abortionist With One Question. The question:

If abortion was illegal, what should be done with the women who have illegal abortions?

I see absolutely no brilliance or significant insight in this question, but given the Nature of the WordPress audience, people are flocking to this posting like it was a pile of Barack Obama’s dirty underwear waiting to be sold on ebay.

My article is not about abortion. It is about people who lie about past political or religious affiliations in order to gain a moral legitimacy. I first noticed this phenomena while listening to Rush Limbaugh. People would call in, identifying themselves as former Republicans, or former conservatives. They would then proceed to plaster Limbaugh with a tirade of left-wing rhetoric as if they’d memorized the writings of Voltair and Rosseau. And in only a few months! Because it was only as recently as that horrible right-winger, GW Bush had invaded Iraq that these oh-so-introspective former “right-wing-nutjobs” had found their Damascus Road–or in most cases–its antithesis.

Limbaugh could pick these folks out immediately, and he always called them on it. An immediate giveaway was a male–if slightly effeminate–using overly verbose and academic language. Yup–what we have here is a spy for the intelligentsia.

Well, I pick up on these liars pretty quickly myself. They try to use people’s innate desire to get along and become one with the masses, in order to circumvent these people’s logic. “See, I was where you are, and I’ve changed my mind. I can see things from all perspectives because I’ve looked at all perspectives–and I found what was best. You should follow me.”

I remember having a debate about the Bush administration with one fellow. He told me that he used, to be a conservative but now, after Bush dashed all of his hopes by lying to get us to go to war, in order to smash all of the poor, brown-skin people living in Iraq, he had lost faith in the conservative agenda and was now a liberal. And an atheist. Hmmm. I was suspicious. Then I took a look at his book case. I found some writings by Gore Vidal. Gotcha. No person who was a conservative a few years after the Iraq war began goes from thinking we should kill Saddam Hussein to reading Gore Vidal. Also, this person had videos about how the New Testament was written by a bunch of hucksters. Wow, George Bush really did a number on this fellow, didn’t he? Dashed his belief in God. Bush would surely burn for that one…

It seems to me, that the normal events to occur after one loses faith in a political or religious belief, would be a kind of sullen, grey neutrality. One would begin to question everything and be unable to go on crusades against one’s former views. Most of these people would start to see that the world is a difficult place to decrypt, not that the world is the exact opposite of how one saw it before.

Always be careful when someone tells you that they used to be one thing, but then by a not-so-devine intervention, became the exact opposite. Many times these people are using a subtle psychological ploy to force others into seeing things their way.

Article by General Wesley Clark

Retired General Wesley Clark is a staunch Democrat. Here he addresses what the Democrats must do to remedy the accepted view that Democrats and the military don’t play nice together.

It’s an excellent article, where Clark makes the point that complaining liberals don’t generally enlist–so things don’t change to their liking within the military. Probably a good thing.

I don’t agree with Clark’s assessment of the Clinton years being some sort of Shangri-La for military service. To all of my knowledge, the armed forces were gutted to all time lows and morale was terrible.

Iraq is the Middle East’s last hope–and now the Dems own it.

You see, I’ve been accused of being a “Neoconservative”. Neocon, they say. Now I know humans need labels to identify things, so I won’t go on a tirade about not labeling me. No, we need labels–such as Moonbat. I like that one and plan to keep on using it.

People have accused me of being an apologist for Bush. I don’t know if that fits the bill, but what I do know is that George Bush was steam-rolled by the biggest Moonbat machine that I’ve witnessed in my life. The Iraq War simply sent the left into a blind, near-psychotic rage. It was embarrassing to watch really. First Bush facilitated the attacks on the Twin Towers. Then he lied about WMD. Then, Saddam Hussein wasn’t that bad of a guy after all. Then David Patraeus was a liar and Bush crony. Then the surge didn’t really work. Then we were building more terrorists by killing Saddam.

The Dems tried to block money that would buy the troops equipment–while deployed in a war zone and fighting the modern Barbarian Horde–Extreme Islam. They denied having voted for the war–which everyone knows they did–Hillary, Kerry, Gore–all Democratic presidential candidates that gave Bush the power to persecute the war with extreme prejudice.

So again, the Democrat party did what it’s done my whole life–stand against our own military and snuggle up to horrible dictators. They were willing to let our country lose this war, as long as it brought them votes. And it worked. But now it’s their hot potato. Be sure that they don’t want thousands of Americans slain in a 30 minutes window as happened on that clear day, back in 2001. Because for the last 8 years they’ve been trying to tell us that nothing Bush did was really working. It was all coincidence. So now Barack does the wise thing and hires on the best people for our defense. And the Moonbats are hating it. But none of these people have executive power. They merely advise the president, for the most part. And we won this war with them. And we’ll keep fighting it with them–and the Moonbats will keep doing what they do best–denying that war can be the answer.

So it’s yours Democrats. Have fun. I know I won’t blame you if no more Americans die by terrorist attacks on our soil.

Iraq is the last hope for the Arab world. The last hope for Democracy there.  The Middle East has already rejected the West. It cast the British out, but still wanted to mimic what they’d seen the British do. But the Arabs failed. Now, that part of the world only gazes at the West through jealous eyes, masking its resentment with the mythology of Western oppression. So the Democrats fought against the last hope for the Arab world to free itself–prove itself. To cast aside the yolk of totalitarian regime, genocide, hate, starvation and privation.

The Democrats ranted against hope itself, but now the ball’s in their court. Let the games begin.

Anbar Province

Anbar Province, the most violent province in Iraq before David Patraeus took over the job as lead commander in Iraq, has now been handed back to the people of Iraq. American blood shed in Fallujah and Ramadi washed defeat away from victory– and revealed too that Barak Obama cannot lead this country–because he denies that blood the honor it deserves.

And where are the headlines? Instead, we hear about Sarah Palin’s personal issues, if they can even be called that.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden have already made astoundingly bad choices for America and the world, not to mention for millions of Iraqis, and the Democratic ticket hasn’t even reached the President’s office yet.

They both wanted out of Iraq when Patraeus spoke to Congress not too long ago. Hillary Clinton too. They’re all afraid of Iraq, because they know nothing of war’s purpose, so they just want to avoid things they know little of. It’s only human nature. And reading the polls told them they could get votes by avoiding tough choices.

Biden and Obama, against all perceivable evidence, continued to deny that the surge would and did work. The event took place right in front of their eyes, and yet they could not cast aside they’re own beliefs, beliefs they got from their own adoring media-that success was not an option.

Why in the world should I vote for them? Say what you will about George Bush. Say he is clueless, dumb, a cowboy, incompetent, say all of it. But Obama’s conclusions on Iraq are even more stupid. He had the advantage of having Iraq develop right in front of him, where Bush had to make decisions as things developed from 9/11 on.

And still, Obama, Biden and virtually all of the pandering Democrats couldn’t make the right choice. And as long as their party lives and dies by the failures of George Bush, they will never understand. They took the unpopularity of Iraq and ran with it for purely political reasons. They selfishly placed the lives of millions at risk, so they could have power, and even now they deny their own spoken conclusions, uttered mere months ago.

Yet, Obama still maintains his image as a different kind of politician.

He simply doesn’t understand. He’s out of his league on force options. It doesn’t fit what he was taught at his liberal colleges, what he discussed with unshaven dissidents in Political Science class.

If only he knew that the child’s playground is as edifying as the classroom when it comes to dealing with bullies and tyrants alike.

McCain’s rejected op-ed; Obama’s ignorance of matters military

I wonder what would have happened if McCain’s recent write-up, sent to the op-ed grave yard by New York Times editors, along with hundreds of high school student’s essay submissions about world peace, would have been about the horrors of Gitmo, or unstable and murderous soldiers returning from Iraq. Pretty sure it would have made the cut.

Check out his article, submitted to CNN by McCain’s campaign: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/21/mccain.op.ed/index.html

He’s dead on in his analysis. And nothing that Barak Obama sees in Baghdad will change his mind about America’s near-future role there. The left will go on for decades about what the current administration has done wrong, and to them, any answer that involves the military is wrong. Mr. Obama and his wife have been nicely insulated from every form of reality. This is not really a slam so much as a fact. Big, liberal colleges are the perfect place to find refuge from reality. Theory, theory, theory. Theory is so much fun. Reality hurts, and it hurts more when you’re not accustomed to it.

Obama spouts the same Democrat line. How is he different? He’s Jimmy Carter in boxer shorts.

The Democratic candidate does have a skill, though it’s a cheap skill, easily honed, or at least too easily appreciated. He has the ability to make people believe that there are easy answers, and that things can get done without any pain at all. And people so want to hear that. Anyone can fall victim to the “take a pill and make it go away” syndrome. Certainly no one wants to hear that sometimes you may have to bludgeon entire cultures into pulp and rubble in order to make them stop attacking your own culture. But sometimes you do.

Fortunately, most of the NCOs in the military are closely associated with reality. Maybe a little too so–I wish they’d relax a little. But better that, than an entire country dance away to Byzantium, only to watch thousands of innocents perish in a flash.

Sorry, but Obama’s way is the lazy and easy way. The way to get cheap votes from those people who are outraged by the terrorist’s only friend: The TV camera.

There’s no cheap way out of this. We should learn from our war in 1993 with Iraq: Pay now and up front, or pay later and in spades.

The Democrats in Cali are at it again

The Dems are at it again.

In their effort to demonize everything your dad did and does, and replace dads actions with everything Elton John did and does, California Democrats are proposing an increase of 30 cents a can on beer in their fine Moonbat state. I found this story on Moonbattery.com, as well as the tasteful picture of the nubile lasses, posted to the left. Yes, Germany still produces some good products it seems. (Mike, before you say it, I know BMWs are German. I’m just saying…)

What would Ben Franklin and Samual Adams think?

We may be looking at another Peasants Revolt here, but this time it won’t be led by Thomas Muentzer, and it won’t be about religious reformation. It’ll be led by Harry Coddlesikes, owner of the local laundromat, and it’ll be about a man’s inborn right to drink a cheap cold one after a long day’s work…
