God is dead. God remains dead.

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it? ~ Nietzsche~ Thus Spake Zarathustra

In 1885, Nietzsche announced the death of God to a stunned world. Yes–We–killed God. And we mutilate His corpse even today. The media hacks at His body at every chance. Look! It’s another fallen pastor! This proves that there is no God, at least no Christian God.

And of course the Darwinists make it their reason for living, kicking the rotting meat that was God. It seems the only reason they want to study science at all; to silence that nasty little voice in their head that whispers: “Perhaps God…is.”

As unbelief becomes more prevalent, I expect our society to slowly come apart at the seems.

I know I made some statements that might really inflame some people’s sensibilities below – so I totally understand if you don’t publish it. I tried to obscure it so it won’t get indexed on search engines – just b/c in many cases, such statements cause some people to go nuts)

Specifically though, he referred to the West killing God – it was in the moral sense as you mention above. It’s hard to disagree with his assessment of the situation (too many misunderstand it to mean that God is literally dead which is absolutely not what he meant) when it comes to Western civilization. But with ‘The Religion of Peace’ for instance, religion absolutely still acts as the moral code (in fact one of the major tenets is the establishment of Sharia at the expense of man made law and morality). In all ways it seems that for those that embrace Islam, it absolutely is vibrant and serves as a very effective teleology. Considering the way Women are treated under strict versions of the Religion of Peace, the way Homosexuals are treated, the way ‘adultery’ is handled, the way theft is handled, etc etc. we really outdid ourselves. We killed a benelovent, loving and compassionante god and replaced him with a Sadistic, malevolent being that despises much of human nature. This act of ours, coupled with our eternal love of Socialism seems to prove the extent of the Thanatos that Western Civilization suffers (where else after all, other than in Universities, Press Rooms and Govt offices in Western Civilizations is Christianity so hated and Socialism still taken seriously?)

Don’t worry about making people go nuts–I’ve driven my share of people to insanity on this blog (and others).

Do not totally despair. Science is also dead. The Earth’s climate change being blamed on mankind most assuredly proves it.
