You think you know evil?

Most people in America don’t know evil. They’re squeamish in the extreme, despite having seen untold numbers of murders and eviscerations on TV and in theaters. But the real thing, real death, real blood, real human bodies twisted in such manners that your brain cannot properly identify them; that kind of violence is alien to the American, and that speaks well of our nation.

It also weakens out defences against enemies whose violence we can barely comprehend. Extreme Islam is one such enemy. Al-Qaeda operatives are vicious, evil, and think nothing of committing atrocities that make every American cringe. Because of the widespread ignorance that I read on the pages of some blogs, and because there are many on WordPress who seem to think that Abu Graib is the worst place in the world to be, I ask those people, (without justifying the acts of the prison guards of Abu Graib), which would you rather have happen to you; have underwear placed on your head while being photographed and be placed, naked, into human pyramids, or this: WARNING–GRAPHIC PHOTOS BELOW:

marine-head.jpgmarine-throat-cut.jpgmarine-burning.jpgmarines-dead-in-truck.jpg:

These are the decapitated remains of two US Marines. You think you have it tough here? Do you think that Al-Qaeda plays Patty-Cake, or talks about there feelings while passing a bowl of M+Ms? Call evil: evil.

Notice the same, black, Islamic flag, flying in the still frames as in the Marine/Puppy throwing video? Again, suspicious…

Holy shit Doug. I didn’t believe you when you said they were graphic. Fuck. I need a drink.

Sorry. I only did it to show the people who complain about how bad America is. And for those people who refuse to call evil, evil .

These people are evil, and as far as I’m concerned, they need to be destroyed. But my friend, Will, wants to have a cup of coffee with them in his Ivory Tower.

My intent was not to offend anyone, and I’m sorry if the pics bothered you…

No, no, it didn’t offend me at all. I just makes me want to run over like a mother hen and swoop up my brother and his unit and bring them back to hide out in my compound until everything is over. And we can roast marshmallows in my fireplace and watch professional wrestling like we did when we were kids, before he grew up, before he got a sense of purpose, and honor. Sigh. These kids today and their integrity.

If anything happens to him, I’m worried I’m going to turn in to Charles Bronson a la Death Wish.

Don’t worry. This will be over soon, the drama-queen media that can’t wait for something bad to happen to America will go on to the new “disaster”, and America will keep on moving forward, because we have food and water and shelter and more of it than anyone else–which is what humans throughout history have been killing each other for.

And know that your brother is fighting in the baddest army ever assembled on this Earth.

Heavy Metal Avengers. That’s what Mark Bowden called them in his book, Black Hawk Down.

    Heavy Metal Avengers.

    Yeah, I like that…

Heavy Metal Avengers? And here I thought one of my brother’s compatriots was just overly witty…I’ve heard that expression, but I had no idea it wasn’t generated by a 20-year-old Devil Dog. I avoid books and movies about soldiers, they always make bawl like a girl.

I will admit, I do feel a little better πŸ™‚

Everyone’s evil. Americans are evil. Iraqis are evil. The Iraqis tortured each other brutally before we even had the chance to torture them. Anyone who wants to be a realist tends to fail as long as they choose a side. Everyone wants to choose a side and have their side win, but that requires believing the official “fantasy” your particular side espouses. If you really wanna call yourself a “realist”, write a blog about HUMANITY’s evil, instead of this one-sided stuff. Put up some pictures of civilian women and children blown to bits by American bombs, then repost these pictures of soldiers blown to bits. The effect will be very different; that is, you might actually achieve the goal you set out for yourself of telling everyone the “truth”.

(I ask those people, (without justifying the acts of the prison guards of Abu Graib), which would you rather have happen to you; have underwear placed on your head while being photographed and be placed, naked, into human pyramids, or this:) I answer you : I think what those people (Al-Qaeda ) doing is evil(not all of them). and what america doing in iraq is evil too (not all soldiers). if Al-Qaeda kills one soldier . your troops kill 100.and 95 from them are innocent (women and children and unarmed men) I do not know about your media in america. are they show you the whole pictures from iraq.don’t you read the statistics ? millions of iraqis killed and run away from their homes and live in poverty!!! what happen to you people? don’t you see? don’t you feel? do you think you fighting the bad people? the terrorists? is that give you the right to kill an innocent people and destroy a whole countries !! and you simply asking : (which would you rather have happen to you…) and just to remind you in abu ghraib there is innocent people killed ! and before they killed they tortured and just god knows what happened behind doors and didn’t pictured ? and you say (which would you rather have happen to you…) . I ask you what would you do if any country attacks your country ? don’t you fighting who attacking your home who killing your children.who rape your family . may be you will say they attack us in( 11- 9 !) but who attacks you ? iraq ? or may be you say saddam was dictator ! yes I think that too. and maybe I am wrong!! but I will never ask god to replaced saddam by bush or graseani or Ariel Sharon or hitler !!! and you say (which would you rather have happen to you..) I prefer respecting religions I prefer respecting cultures . my opinion we have some wrong things in our culture and you have some wrong things in your culture too . so we must correct our wrongs and you too without wars and without cultures crash . and eventually these are my opinions and I think it’s right . if I am wrong. correct me . and just god knows what is the truth ! >>>>>> I am arabic and moslem and I respect all religions and cultures……………………..

why my comments was deleted ….. just tell me ?

  11. November 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm

    Lol @ hasan…

Dear, deleting comments are necessary for his version of reality to stand firm. There is no freedom of speech. America is not democratic. An American’s life is worth more than an Iraqi’s life. That is the right thing in his version of reality.

Americans fought a war of independence a few hundred years ago. The philosophy of freedom which came with it made America great. But now America is more like their old English emperors themselves. American self-centered lifestyle reflects that of Nazis’ nationalist imperialism. The economic and cultural destruction of the world and American people themselves is worse than economic an cultural destruction of Socialism portrayed by the American TV.

These people are in an absolute denial. They defy their own roots all the time.

I don’t blame the American people. They have been brainwashed. They have been programmed to act in a certain way which is most favorable for their corporates. But they need to wake up.

Burning bodies (of both sides) is the biggest sign God (Christian or Jew or Muslim one) can give you, to tell you that you need to wake up.

Please don’t stereotype me. Don’t make my words irrelevant by saying that this is conspiracy theory shit or anti-American hatred. Just read my words, evaluate for yourself if my words reflect the reality or not. And then do the right thing.

Americans are less than 5% of world’s population, and they consume more than 25% of world’s resources. Actions you take matter.

    I don’t remove any comments–except for trolls from helium.com.

  13. November 12, 2008 at 5:17 am

Thanks magus71, that is good to know. πŸ™‚

I will really appreciate if you share with me what you think about my comment above. As an American, you have more responsibility than anyone else in the world to make the change happen. This responsibility arises from the fact that American per capita consumption of energy and food is manifold of people living anywhere else.

Unlike most American people, you seem to be concerned about what’s happening in the world outside your own life. πŸ™‚

  14. November 12, 2008 at 11:16 pm

I agree that Americans consume a lot. We also produce a lot and therefore have more to consume. Other countries such as China and Mexico show less regard than Americans do for the environment.

As has been said before, there is no history, only biographies. I prefer to think on an individual level. I myself drive a gas efficient vehicle, walk or bike when i can. Most people I know are very aware of the environment.

But I am not part of the Blame America First, crowd. Indeed, with great power comes great responsibility. America, for all her faults, is still what the rest of the world aspires to be like.

  15. November 13, 2008 at 1:40 pm

democracy sucks, three outta four of the greatest minds ever to have walked this earth agreed upon this fact. Among the worst times in the world, shall be the time of democracy.
This is like one of those never-ending debates. America’s prime is coming to end bit by bit, so it wont be long before the forces of nature decide that the wind must now blow another way. Figaroooo…..!!!!

  16. November 13, 2008 at 2:54 pm

Please name the four great minds. Bet I can name ten that would disagree…

  17. November 13, 2008 at 6:52 pm

plato, aristotle, socrates are the ones who spoke against it… cant remember the fourth right now!

  18. November 13, 2008 at 7:31 pm

John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Frederick Douglas, Ben Franklin, George Orwell, Martin Luther, Pericles, Cicero and Rudyard Kipling may disagree with them.

But you are correct, those three did see faults with democracy. That being said, most would admit that it would be foolhardy to hand back the reigns of power to kings and emperors.

    Dear All of the Above,

I cannot believe you are all arguing your political opinions like this, while the deeply Disturbing and REAL photo’s of two young mens postmortem Torture rest a few scrolls up your screen.
This is the worst possible nightmare-become-reality for all the people in these mens lives. These two boys were not offered even the decency of a burial. They will never feel the confort of the chair or bed you are sitting on now. Did you think of that?
Screw your politics, religion, and personal opinions – They’re gone.
Your life has been stolen. Your dreams taken without notice. You can never feel your cheeks turn up in a smile. You will never laugh again. You knew these things happened. You knew this would never be you.

Do the words the others say mean so much to you now?

I agree however, that Democracy is not perfect. Never will be. But it’s the best thing we’ve got going. If you want things to get better – change yourself first.
You can’t please everybody all the time. The strong will take a stand, whilst the weak will bend with the prevailing winds. Food for thought.

I Thank these men and every other man and women that have fought for my rights! Also because they died they give a right to say F all the tree huggers what happens when they come over here and do this to our civilians! As for the civilians that died over their everyone must under stand they were dieing before we got there! Our troops are not the only ones killing civilians (When they do it is accidental) also the enemy is killing them to! I say F the United Nations they never have our backs! Examples Korea, Vietnam, Gulf war! If it were france or russia that had their towers fall the United Nations would be all over Iraqi! The U.S. started the United Nations. I love the Corps every generation has had a family member sereve in the U.S. military! I say KILL ALL THOSE SONS OF BITCHES! LET GOD HAVE MERCY ON THE BECAUSE THE CORPS WILL NOT! (I mean the accual terrorist) And For those MARINES, MARINES NEVER DIE THEY JUST REGROUP IN HELL SEMPER FIDELIS! I know how it feels to see some close to you die! I watched my baby sister die 12 years old. She was only 12 and the medince giving to her was not clean so she got a heart disease! For three months I watched her slip away! Then one day they say their going to unplug the machines because her organs started dieing and their was no way to save her! I watched my mom hold her as she turned a cold blue that I never wish to see again but know I will! I puched the walls my self and almost the people around me! Now I thank GOD for taking her out of this world becuase now she is a better place! These men and women our are GAURDIAN ANGELS! Once again I thank them All I wish I could Repay them!GOD BLESS you all wheater you agree or not!

    Hi Magus !

Plz tell me, why don’t you try to be fair enough and show people the U.S. army’s evile photos. I mean like the ones shown above. Am an Algerian who served in the National Security services, I have seen worse than the photos above with the horrible blood smell and more. I hate terrorist more than you do, guys. I think that you have good soldiers because they follow the orders of the chain of command. They are not supposed to think… not their job anyway. Yet, I think that your guys must get the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan. They are old enough to put their shit together.
They are not all angels nd not all evil, the JIs too. In war, every human being can become a monster, when he LIVES all the atrocities people can’t imagine.

Thnx guys, and excuse my frankness

There are so many different cultures and religions. So many disagree with each other. None of them are perfect. Because the member are only human. We are not gods, we can not see the future or even know ALL of the past. We can only comprehend a small finite part of this world. We all need to realize how precious every one of us are. There will always be evil people in this world. We who are good people (every where) not just America, must hold true to are integrity. This life is a test, it really is. When the time comes, we will all stand before God or Who ever you call him, and he will know every secret in your heart, everything you thought know one would ever find out. This life is for us, all of us. We all have are own agendas, we all have are own missions. It is not for us to know everything in this life, just do the best we can. I know that if got one good person from each nation together in one room that they would be friends and laugh and learn from each other. But right now the men and women that are in power are not good, not all of them are bad, but a lot of them are, they want to kings and queens, and they will do what ever it takes to get them there.
